CBT part 2

Here's the main features of CBT :
  • Emphasis on the present
  • Collaborative empirism
  • Specific goals
  • outcome evaluation
"Think about your parents,your mom especially, she spent like more than hundred bucks to pay hospital bill just to make sure you okay"- my former psychiatrist.
Yes I've been to clinical depression before this after trying to committed suicide after failure with  my relationship with this girl. And No I'm not pussy thank you. well back to our main conversation here, although CBT is highly structured form of therapy, the structure of the sessions can be modified depending on time constraints, the patients' needs and the patient-therapist contact.

You know, you can do basis structure in CBT. here's the behavioral methods.
  1. Relaxation - Imagery,breathing exercises, progressive muscle relaxation.
  2. Distraction - Object focusing.
  3. Same as above - Sensory awareness
  4. Monitoring activities
  5. Schedule activities
  6. Graded tasks
By doing all this, insyaAllah you will find the way to stop you from thinking. and if you're a muslim, you can always pray to Allah and ask for forgiveness. May Allah be with you.

Cognitive Methods :
  1. Explaining the mechanism and symptoms of the relevant disorder
  2. Identifying and challenging negative thoughts 
  3. Cognitive restructuring
